Tessen Jutsu

Although Usagi prefers long ranged fights over melee, she has an alternative use of her red tessen fighting fans that consists of five long sharp blades attached, she can use her fans as both a projectile and a melee weapon. It can be used to cast fire and lightning techniques from the use of chakra. Rather than using them for close combat fightings Usagi tends to use them for throwing it towards a target, generally her favourite spots to aim at are the throat or head. Usagi was given these weapons that were passed down from her mother, in hopes of using it and understanding the weapon more as she grows older. Refusing to ever use it due to bringing back painful memories upon her mother’s death, She holds these weapons that are stored in both pockets either side of her thighs in shippuden, during her Akatsuki time, but never seems to use it until after her departure. Some of her moves with the fighting fans towards an enemy are:

the ‘Throat Stab’, where she grabs hold of the target and stabs their throat with a closed fan, whilst the other opened fan is used for hitting the them.
the ‘Dancing Fan-Tasy’ where she uses both of her fans at fast range in sort of a dance movement to slice her enemies at close combat.
the ‘Fan-tastic Stab’ where she mounts on the enemy’s chest stabbing constantly at either their chest or face before quickly dismounting by kicking off into a backflip.
the ‘Whirlwind Dance‘ where she spins both of her body and fans around her to deal fire/blaze damage.
‘Cruel Fan-tasy’ is a genjutsu of where both the closed fans are thrown at the target’s chest and stomach, and then instantly open, stabbing them internally.

Blaze is an alternative use with mangekyo sharingan active, but consumes a large amount of chakra and may instantly drain out the energy from the user. 

Tessen jutsu is a weapon used passed from the Akita Clan.

Ninjutsu 

Usagi displays great knowledge in ninjutsu, enabling her to use it quite often when it comes to long ranged battles, including the manipulation of fire and lightning with her tessen fans. On the downside Usagi tends to use a lot of chakra, especially when performing a jutsu that requires more chakra than usual. 

Taijutsu

Her lowest point is Taijutsu, although she can fight melee range upon using her tessen fans and kama blades, without it she is more of a long ranged fighter, avoiding the opponent as much as possible. Sasuke generally mocks her for not knowing many signature combat combos. 

Sharingan

Usagi awakened her sharingan at the late age of 12 after witnessing her mother’s death from the Suna ninjas that have lethally poisoned her and beating her, all in favor to protect Usagi from harm and demanding her to run back to the village. She fully matures the sharingan with three tomoes when she gets captured by the Akatsuki members after the tortures that were placed upon her for lack of cooperation.

In shippuden, Usagi spends her time training the sharingan for full use as a genjutsu specialist in temporary replacement of Itachi due to his illness. She can sometimes be reckless and pushes her limit when using her genjutsu to either restrict an enemy’s movement, pull them in a hallucination torture. Though getting trained under the supervision of Sasori, Usagi believes that Sasori is not obligated to instruct her on how to use her genjutsu as it is an ‘Uchiha’s responsibility’ or a ‘gift/curse’ that can be used in any way they desire, although deep down Usagi’s fear is becoming permanently blind from the overuse of sharingan. She only uses the sharingan in order to extract information from villagers, and the hunt of tailed beasts.

Mangekyo Sharingan

Usagi awakened her mangekyo from the force of Sasori’s demands, which was to kill off her former team mate and best friend Ryo, who was captured by Deidara for attempting to infiltrate the Akatsuki hideout in hopes of getting Usagi back and retrieving information on the Akatsuki’s objectives. Sasori recalls on how Usagi wanted to prove to everyone that she can be stronger by facing complicated challenges, therefore making Ryo a good example. Usagi hesitates and refuses, but is soon to face a choice by Sasori, To kill or to be killed. 

Upon on finally taking Ryo’s life, her mangekyo awakens and becomes emotionally devastated as she recalls back to witnessing her mother’s death, stating how her life is unfair and believes that she’s carrying the burden for the people she loved that died. Moments after though, she fully accepts her mangekyo and starts making progress of using it. Usagi is able to activate the blaze release during her time sticking with Sasuke right until the fourth shinobi war, having her to witness on Sasuke’s susanoo and eternal mangekyo sharingan.

Her use of mangekyo and blaze release is very little, and only uses it in vital situations against stronger opponents. Usagi does not have the susanoo.
